Wonderful stay at this fantastic hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The resort has an amazing aroma throughout and is a real oasis to return to after a hectic day exploring the city. The breakfast is both extensive and delicious and I really can't fault the service. The rooftop bar overlooking the Royal Palace had a great intimate atmosphere. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. If we return to Phnom Penh in the future, we would definitely love to return to the Palace Gate Hotel and Resort.
Very nice place. Superbly decorated for Christmas. And very well placed near Riverside and close to the Royal Palace. Quality service. A large and beautiful room. Too bad there is no window. A very good restaurant and breakfast in the form of a varied and hearty buffet. Finally very nice pool. A very nice place.
We spent a week here and the hotel is located in a good position to explore the city. It can be noisy due to traffic, however, this minor inconvenience did not spoil our stay. Hotel staff are very polite and efficient, the food is excellent and the cleaners did a fantastic job each day cleaning and tidying the room. I would, if returning to the city definitely stay at the Palace Gate.
This place is ideal for a visit to the city. Tje location and rooms are perfect. The location is on the side of the palace and a short walk to the vibrant front were all the locals hangout. The breakfast was brilliant, and they will make the coffee as you like it as many cups as you like. The swimming pool and and everything was brilliant. The staff at the front seskbwere superb. In fact thank you to all the staff for a great stay. Especially the front desk and breakfast staff. This is what you call a 5 star hotel. With 5 star service.
